Park Play in Anaheim

Anaheim is brimming with parks, each boasting different features. From multi-acre sprawling greenery with plenty of recreational courts to small, tucked away gems with the best playground equipment, it’s all up to you. Take a look at some of these Anaheim parks and enjoy the great outdoors and famous California sunshine.

  • George Washington Park: Located at 250 E Cypress Street, this park was built on the first public elementary school in Anaheim. On three acres, you can enjoy a gorgeous arbor walkway, gazebo, rose garden, children’s play area, and open play space.
  • Hansen Park: At 3347 W Thornton Avenue, this adult favorite has barbecues available to use and plenty of open play areas.
  • Imperial Park: You’ll find this getaway at 450 S Imperial Highway. On 7.4 acres with incredible views of the San Gabriel Mountains and Anaheim Canyon, there’s a group picnic shelter and barbecues, a children’s play area, and open play space.
  • John Marshall Park: Head to 2001 W La Palma Avenue for 15 acres featuring barbecues, a basketball court, exercise stations, and an unlit softball field. Restroom facilities are on site, as are group picnic shelters and a children’s play area. Lit softball fields are also an option.
