Long Beach Comic Expo

On February 17 and 18, head to the Long Beach Convention Center for the annual Long Beach Comic Expo. You’ll be in your element as comic books and pop culture mesh for one of the most anticipated showcases of the year. Meet the writers, artists, and illustrators behind your favorite comics, attend workshops and lectures, and snap selfies with the best talent in the industry. Exhibitors are on hand with must-have products, and there are plenty of meet and greet options with celebrities.

The event takes place 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday. Children 10 and under are admitted free with a paying parent/guardian. Cosplay/costumes are encouraged. Tickets start at just $35 for a Sunday-only pass, and you’ll want to get yours early. This event can sell out.

Prepping for Your First Expo

The expo is brought to Long Beach by MAD Event Management, the same company that hosts the Comic Creator Conference (September) and Long Beach Comic Con (September). Why wait until autumn to get your geek on? Celebrities and exhibitors will be added to the roster up until the day of the event, and there are always surprise appearances.

Keep an eye on the official site and get ready to meet PJ Black, Rikishi, Paige Halsey Warren, and Jonny Cruz.
