Halloween Treats and Tricks

Since 1924, the Anaheim Halloween Parade has drawn thousands to the downtown streets for a day festival full of costumes, candy and plenty of fun. At its peak, 150,000 attendees lined the streets. It’s your pick for family-friendly fun on October 28, and the perfect pre-cursor for more spooking outings throughout the evening.

You can have a hauntingly good time at Disneyland throughout the month of October, from special games, rides and decorations to ghostly treats at vendors and restaurants. At Motel 6 Feet Under, the scariest haunted house in Orange County, you’ll be challenged to get through a haunted maze full of scares and thrills. The best part? All proceeds benefit a local non-profit.

Halloween Fun

At Anaheim Plaza, enjoy a free event for the whole family where trick or treating, face painting, balloon art and more is waiting. The first 100 kids get a free flashlight and trick or treat bag, and there’s a family-friendly DJ spinning ghostly tunes throughout the event. Head to N. Euclid St. and Santa Ana Freeway on October 28 at 11 a.m.

Check out the Halloween Treat-or-Treating at the Anaheim town square if you prefer all treats and no tricks during the haunting season. Free with scores of stores participating, there are also pumpkin decorating stations, face painting, train rides and of course a costume contest. Where will your first haunt be?
