Get to know the Lawndale

Lawndale isn’t known as well as other American cities, but don’t let that mislead you. Lawndale is a pleasant, up-and-coming tourist destination that is definitely worth a visit. You’ll be amazed by several of the fascinating things to do and beautiful places at this hidden getaway.

The keyhole 

In 2012, Manhattan Beach celebrated its centennial by sponsoring a massive public exhibit. They went with Mags Harries as well as Lajos Héder’s “Light Gate.” In 2015, the piece was eventually finished and presented in front of Manhattan Beach City Hall, honoring the creators’ every promise.

Butterfly sanctuary

The El Segundo Butterfly Preserve is indeed a natural sanctuary for the endangered El Segundo Blue Butterfly. A four-mile walk rings the perimeter of the park, providing an excellent vantage point for viewing planes take off and land at LAX. The perfect time to view butterflies would be in the late summer, whereas an estimated 125,000 butterflies fly throughout the place.
