St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Gardena will hold the Strawberry Park Days Fiesta. Beach life Festival!


Beach Life is back for its second season after being canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020. Beach Life was a weekend of reclaiming some routine during the ongoing crisis. It was also a weekend for people to dig their feet in the sand, dance, and reminisce about the glorious days of their favorite bands.

Annual Festival of the kite


The annual kite festival at Redondo Pier is one of the country’s oldest. The best hand-made kite, the best ground show, the highest-flying kite, and the youngest and youngest-at-heart kite flyers are all awarded prizes. The activities include live music, Craig’s Hot Dog on a Stick Eating Contest, including local dance and martial arts performances.
