New Orleans Tango Festival
Get ready to Tango this weekend in New Orleans! After a spectacular first year, the New Orleans Tango Festival is back and ready to give you a weekend full of fun and entertainment. Kicking off the fun on Thursday, June 18 and lasting through the weekend, enjoy live music, fun events and of course, lots of tangos! The beautiful Astor Ballroom at the Astor Hotel, located at the intersection Bourbon and Canal Street, is the host for this year’s events.
If you are and expert or this is your first time giving it a go, there are workshops and lessons for everyone of all skill levels. If your partner is a bit shy about participating, no worries, you can go it alone and still get all the tips, training and fun that you can imagine, partners are not required. Four DJ’s from all across the United States will entertain you as well as a number a remarkable bands. Instructors from Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States will give you top notch lessons.
