New Orleans Pride

New Orleans knows how to throw a party, and in many ways Pride is celebrated year-round. However, nothing compares to the official New Orleans Pride June 8 – 10, dubbed one of the fastest growing celebrations in the country. It’s tripled in size in the past five years and includes a three-day weekend of events, parades, parties, and more. Everyone is welcome at the LGBTQ(I) family-friendly weekend that starts with a Pride Weekend Kick-Off Party followed by Family Day.

Family Day includes a park outing with food, entertainment, and plenty of children’s activities. A New Orleans picnic in the park is free, open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for a full day of fun. Next up is the New Orleans Pride Parade, a procession that winds through the French Quarter. It’s free to enter (and free for spectators).

Where’s Your Pride?

For many, the Pride Parade After Party—held at venues around the city—marks the biggest party weekend of the year. Party too hard? Head over to Pride Brunch on Sunday for a New Orleans indulgence. The official Pride Brunch is ticketed with keynote speakers.

Pride continues throughout June and the summer with programs, special events, and seminars. Find out more about New Orleans Pride and get your brunch tickets today.
