New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival
April and May are all about jazz in New Orleans, with this annual event taking in Crescent City from April 27 – 29 and May 3 – 6. Known simply as Jazz Fest by the locals, it’s a one of a kind multi-day event that celebrates the heritage and culture of the city and Louisiana as a whole. You’ll be treated to non-stop music and decadent delicacies available only in New Orleans. A family-friendly fete, there’s something for everybody at this spring gathering.
The festival has been ranked as Festival of the Year four times by Pollstar. The Wall Street Journal raves about it, saying the festival “showcases a wider, deeper lineup of essential American musical styles than any festival in the nation.” According to Life Magazine, it’s the “country’s very best music festival.”
