The Louisiana Renaissance Festival

One of the most beloved festivals in the area begins November 7th, where damsels in distress, jousting knights, royalty, and mythology come together in one of the most historic parishes in Louisiana. Part festival, theme park, theater, and holiday shopping adventure, it’s also an educational event designed for the whole family. Enjoy real jousting and falconry, which are just the start of the live entertainment options located only a white horse’s ride away.

At the Village of Albright, you can partake in a slew of educational, interactive events. This is a mini vacation in itself, with hundreds of booths offering handcrafted souvenirs, the best in baking and meat-carved delights, and plenty of holiday decorations. There’s nothing else like it in Louisiana!
