Local Businesses
We are proud of our city and the amazing people that call New Orleans home. We also like to support the local businesses that are owned and operated by fellow New Orleans residents. While you are in town, we encourage you to stop in some of these fantastic establishments. Not only are you supporting small business owners but you will also get an authentic taste of what New Orleans is about.
KPaul’s Louisiana Kitchen is all about fantastic flavor and amazing creations. Chef Paul goes to great lengths to awe and inspire with his award winning menu. With a modest 62 seat start up in 1979, the restaurant has grown to be one of the top spots in New Orleans. Stop in for lunch or make dinner reservations in the beautiful courtyard and see why so many love this place.
Galatories has also climbed the charts over the years with a number of awards and recognitions. Named as one of TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards, 101 Best Restaurants in America by The Daily Meal and many other local awards, this is one restaurant you don’t want to miss. From their humble beginnings in 1905 on Bourbon Street, Galatories has strived to continually bring the best food to the residents and visitors of New Orleans. Still in its original location with one addition, a steakhouse next door, it continues to be a popular dinning spot in the French Quarter that is still owned and operated by the original founding family.
One more locally owned hot spots here in New Orleans is Randazzo’s. This King Cake bakery has long been a staple in New Orleans. Still serving the original family recipe from 1965, patrons line up down the street and around the corner for these delicious King Cakes. While King Cakes are popular during Mardi Gras, Randazzo’s has a continual stream of loyal customers all year long.
