Jackson Square
Arguably the most famous park in New Orleans, Jackson Square is located at 700 Decatur St. and is walkable from your Garden District hotel. The park is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. in the summer hours. Here, you’ll be treated to views of the Mississippi River. It’s also known as Place d’Armes, and welcomes over two million visitors every year. In 2012, Jackson Square was awarded the title of one of the “greatest places in America” by the American Planning Association.
