There’s only one dessert you should order at Brennan’s – bananas foster. They invented it in 1951 and they’ve been doing it best for over 50 years. With brown sugar, cinnamon, and rum, you can’t go wrong.
Brigtsen’s
You can’t have dessert in the South without enjoying a piece of pecan pie at some point, and Brigtsen’s does it best. It comes in a pool of sweet caramel sauce, and has plenty of crunchy nuts in the rich and gooey filling. It’s the perfect finish to any meal.
GW Fins
When you need to cool off on a warm day, stop by GW Fins for their Salty Malty Ice Cream Pie. With caramel and chocolate-covered pretzels, and even caramel whipped cream, it is extraordinarily delicious and the perfect way to take a refreshing break.
Muriel’s
Muriel’s is always popular since they serve up delicious food, but if you’re looking for dessert, you want to go there for the Saints and Sinners cake. It’s multiple layers of angel food and devils food cake, with peanut butter mousse and dark chocolate ganache, served alongside some sweet dulce de leche ice cream. Every single bite of this is heavenly!
