Coming Up: Zombie Run
Test your survival skills for the zombie apocalypse!
Run through the streets of New Orleans as if zombies are chasing you – because they will be at the Zombie Run! On October 19th, dress up as a zombie or a survivalist (makeup artists will be available onsite if you need help getting your decaying skin perfect) and start running. The two mile race winds through the Warehouse District, and is followed by the Boo! parade to the French Quarter, where you can show off your costume next to giant monsterish floats.
After the parade comes the Monster Mash after-party. With DJ Taf spinning, and T and the Ka-Nection Band providing live music, you’ll have a great time. Splurge on the VIP tickets – food and drinks are included in it so it’s well worth a bit more. Enter the costume contest if you dare, and have a apocalyptically good time on the dance floor.
