Help minimize ocean pollution by meeting at Bayou St. John and picking up litter before it reaches the rivers or ocean. Afterwards, there will be a discussion on how to continue to minimize trash in the planet’s water and reduce the use of plastics.
June 22 – Pollination Celebration
Visit the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium to learn about the importance of pollination and the insects or animals involved in the process. There will be all sorts of activities to show the importance of protecting our planet’s bees, hummingbirds, beetles, and more, along with a variety of talks from ecologists and conservationists sharing valuable information into the issues these creatures face.
