Everyone knows about Mardi Gras but in New Orleans, there’s no reason for the party to happen only once a year! The four-day festival is celebrating its 23rd year with the theme “Speakeasy in the Big Easy”, giving you the perfect opportunity to break out your best flapper dress or mobster gear!
The party takes place at various locations across the French Quarter, from the tasting party at Orleans Grapevine restaurant to the concerts at the Bourbon Street Honkytonk. The live performances include Kelly Brown, Don Middlebrook, and Late As Usual, to name just a few of the 27 artists who will be performing. Gamblers will want to join the Poker Run, and pirates will love attending Monte Tolar’s Toast, where you can raise a glass and sing a few sea shanties at the intersection of Bourbon and Orleans Street.
