Sneauxball Fest
Join the inaugural celebration of the Sneauxball Fest, featuring live music and fun activities, as well as your favorite hot-weather treat, snoballs. There will be a dance and step competition, numerous young and talented music artists looking to make a name for themselves, and some amazing Creole food from local vendors.
Concert at the National WWII Museum
The National World War II Museum will be hosting a concert of patriotic songs performed by the New Orleans Concert Band on July 4th, starting at 1 PM. Arrive early and explore the museum before the concert to learn more about our country and our role in World War II.
Enjoy Dinner On The River
Have dinner on a riverboat – both the Creole Queen and the Natchez are offering special menus for the holiday, while cruising you down the Mississippi River. Dueling Fireworks On The River
No matter how you spend the day, there’s only one way to finish it, and that’s with New Orleans’ annual dueling fireworks barges. Two boats, both doing their own fireworks display and trying to outdo the other. It’s a spectacle to be seen, and whether you’re actually on the river or on the riverbank, the whole town turns out for this event.
