The Country Club
Every Saturday morning, enjoy a delicious brunch at the Country Club, with truffled macaroni and cheese, quiche, pan-roasted shrimp, and chicken and waffles, while you enjoy a fun and entertaining drag show! The bottomless mimosas and raunchy humor mean this isn’t suitable for families, but if you want an adults-only meal, this is a great pick. You will need to make a reservation, as this is a popular activity and seats are limited.
Muriel’s Jackson Square
Listen to a live jazz band while you dine at Muriel’s. They offer some delightful Louisiana dishes, like lump crab cakes with a pork relish, shrimp and goat cheese crepes, and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, all paired with mimosas and bloody marys. It’s a classy and elegant brunch, perfect if you were looking for a place where you could dress up a bit.
SoBou
Another risque brunch, SoBou (short for South Of Bourbon) provides an amazing burlesque show during brunch, performed by Bella Blue. The three course brunch menu changes regularly, but has featured in the past bottomless peach bellinis, rich and spicy gumbo, pecan and cherry bread pudding, and french toast. As for the show, Bella is amazing at interacting with the audience during the performance, so that you really feel engaged in the show.
Stage Door Canteen
It may not have occurred to you to have brunch at the World War II museum, but you should. The Stage Door Canteen, a restaurant designed in remembrance of places where Bettie Page, Red Skelton, and Bing Crosby performed, hosts a brunch where you can enjoy good food, like gnocchi with blue crab, while listening to live performances of 1940s music. It’s really an entertaining show, and afterwards, you can explore the museum and learn more about life in that time.
