Any of New Orleans’ finest major attractions

New Orleans is one of the United States’ most unique cities. The globe is familiar with its jazz music, Cajun cuisine, and stunning Mardi Gras celebrations. The city is a cultural melting pot, with all of this from music to language displaying diversity.

Mardi Gras

New Orleans’ trademark festival is Mardi Gras. Every day, there are parades, as well as various sorts of entertainment and celebrations. French settlers introduced the practice to the city, and it grew popular in the nineteenth century. It lasts two weeks and ends the day before Ash Wednesday, on Shrove Tuesday.

Jackson Square

Jackson Square is the main square in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. The white façade of the St. Louis Cathedral, with its cone-shaped towers, stands at one end of the square. The entire area along the Mississippi River’s banks has been beautifully developed.

City Park

New Orleans City Park is home to the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Museum of Art as well as Sculpture Garden. Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, Storyland, and the soon-to-be-added City Splash water park are among the main attractions.
